Industrial Visit:
 

To enhance the technical knowledge of the students and to provide an exposure to the unconventional Machining process, a couple of visits were arranged for the students to Government Tool Room and Training Centre, Rail wheel factory, Yelahanka, Bengaluru. I M T M A (Indian Machine Tool Manufacturers’ Association, Bangalore International Exhibition Centre. The Students were very much Happy with these Visit.


In order to provide an on hand exposure to the students a novel internship was arranged at leading industry such as Vishnu Forge Pvt. Ltd. HMT Industrial Area B) Federal Mogul Goetze India Ltd. Doddabalapur Road, Yelahanaka, Bengaluru for such of the students who intended to take up during semester break.


Institute Industry constatinum (IMTMA) The department of Mechanical Engineering is a member of I M T M A’s Institute - Industry Interactive Consortium (I I I C ) showcasing its expertise for Industrial usage.

Introduction of Value Added Programs:
 

The department is keen on making its students to be ready for placement from the Day - 1 after their graduation. This is being done by enlightening the students of the benefit of different Value Added Programs. In this direction, it has arranged talks by Industry experts from I M T M A (Indian Machine Tool Manufacturers’ Association, who offer training in Modern Manufacturing Technology through their i) Finishing School in Production Engineering; Design Institute which enables the trainee to be ready for job,

Trininty N D T training center – training in Evaluation of the component through Non Destructive Testing with a certification of Level I , Level II

 

SEMCON / FANUC India on Industrial Automation and Robotics.
